E Komo Mai: A Celebration of Hawaiian Culture

E Komo Mai is a free Hawaiian cultural festival on the Tacoma waterfront, presented with support from Tacoma Creates. Join us for hula, live music, outrigger canoe rides, lei making, and Polynesian food, open to the whole family.

This year’s event features:

– Live music by Monday Ukulele Ohana & Northwest Blend
– Hula performances by Halau Hula Ka Lei Mokihana I Ka Ua Noe
– Ukulele lessons
– Lei making and keiki (kids) games
– Polynesian food from Cafe Ohana, Hefa’s Otai, and Kehau’s Ono Grindz
– Guided outrigger canoe rides, no experience needed
